PanArcticon Data Café is a collaborative research platform that brings together digital and physical materials from arctic social science projects. Launched in 2017, it aim to help researchers organize, share, and explore diverse forms of qualitative data by creating common standards, vocabularies, and tools that make knowledge more accessible and reusable across disciplines.

Kjøpmannsgata 7 was the original home of PanArcticon Archives + Data Café, an ethnographic repository for StudioPolar artefactual data and associated projects of the global North. The analog Data Café functioned as a staging site for the warehousing and interpretation of both digital and material forms of data.
